Well yesterday I promised you a very badass giveaway....and here it is complete with fire, mud, and barbed wire!!
An free entry to the Reebok Spartan Race of your choice for one Fancy Nancy reader!! Don't know the Spartan Race? Well take a look!
They have races for all levels:
Beginner races called Spartan Sprint...Super Spartan for those intermediate folks...for the extremist there is Spartan Beast...and for those of you overly badass folks there is Death Race!...Yeah I'm going to go ahead and say that I would probably be a Spartan Sprinter!
There are Reebok Spartan Races all over the country...
Where would you Spartan? Leave a comment below to tell me which race is closest to you and why you want some Spartan bling! I will be announcing the winner on Tuesday!!
Tweet it up for an extra entry: I want a @SpartanRace medal to bite for free with @lilfancynancy http://www.littlefancynancy.blogspot.com/2013/05/fitness-fridayarooo-its-in-you-reebok.html
I want to run a SR!! After my first obstacle/mud run last year SR has been on my to do list. I have a giveaway coming soon :)
ReplyDeleteHey, are we still on for hosting a summer challenge? Ideas?
I was just thinking of that yesterday Jill!! I'm still in! Something to combine miles and strength maybe?

DeleteMy goal is to complete a Spartan Race and become an official bad ass. The teamwork, mental and physical strength needed to complete one of these is quite challenging and I would like to prove to myself I can do it at the Mid-Atlantic Race.
ReplyDeleteI’d definitely choose the Boston race! I love being outside, running, and getting dirty!
ReplyDeleteMy email is gacfrosh[at]aol[dot]com
I like doing obstacles courses because I kind of live by this quote – “Most people run a race to see who is fastest. I run a race to see who has the most guts.” Doing the Vermont race would be cool. Nice and woodsy up there.
ReplyDeleteI'd go to New York. I like a good road trip, and could use another medal for my wall.
ReplyDeleteI really want to run the Spartan Sprint at Fenway. When else am I going to not only step on the grass there, but get crazy messy with something other than ketchup and beer?! I've never done the Spartan race, so I need my first piece of Spartan bling!
