Monday Motivation

This weekend a registration came in the mail....a registration for the summer session of my running group....it was as if it was calling my bluff trying to see if I was serious about getting my speed back and serious about getting back to the runner I was!  The choice in front of me is to attend the group...attend the easier group I feel oh so comfortable in or challenge myself and go to the race group that scares the ever loving crud out of me!  They're fast...fast marathoners...fast ultramathoners!
How do you constantly challenge yourself?  How will you challenge yourself this week?

  1. I think you need to do the race group! Get out of your comfort zone to find yourself.

  2. You need to just do it. You will find your way back and the group will love to help you!

  3. Do it Nancy! At the moment I'm tired so I'm not sure what I will do to challenge myself this week but I'm sure I will come up with something. I think it's going to be starting 90 days with P90X again :)

    Have a great day!

  4. Last week was a bit of an easy week of recovery, or at least it was supposed to be, but I may have tried to push myself too early too soon. I just love to stay challenged though! I say do the harder group!

  6. Running a race this weekend for the first time ages reminded me how much I love and miss challenging myself. I think that you should do the race group too. Sometimes fear is a good motivator :-)

  10. I don't know how I constantly challenge myself...that is something to ponder. I know that this next marathon cycle I really want to step up on my training. I'm trying to allow my busted up body some down time though.
