I would also remind myself that what I would remember about high school sports would be the friends I made, the fun we had together, and the team we built. I'd forget about records and places and trophies.slowly growing old togetherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00675432621915158371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6127204702177748392.post-84098904173798838262012-03-23T13:25:53.672-04:002012-03-23T13:25:53.672-04:00What a great list! My 16 year old self would never believe me when I'd tell her that she'd be a runner and have made some of the best friends ever through the interwebs.

And that she'd be a good 10-15 pounds smaller at 41 than she was at 16.Barihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14677387733194492488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6127204702177748392.post-32185331933290183442012-03-23T13:20:04.667-04:002012-03-23T13:20:04.667-04:00This is a great list! I think my 16 year old self ...This is a great list! I think my 16 year old self thought that she would be successful when she was 33. She was right, but what she didn't know is that "success" was not what she thought it was. Success is setting out to do something and accomplishing it; success is making great friends; success is being happy. Success is not a monetary thing or a job thing, although those can help. There is way more to success than my 16 year old self realized. (my current success is fitting into pants that I haven't fit into for about 10 years!)Kyria @ Travel Spothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05889638304509763419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6127204702177748392.post-51552554966984295942012-03-23T12:38:01.311-04:002012-03-23T12:38:01.311-04:00I love this! Easier said than done when you are in school. You would be a great track coach and I love that your students suggested it! That says a lot about you:)Rachelle Qhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09617310026581589214noreply@blogger.com
