Monday Motivation
All over my Facebook news feed yesterday were proclamations of prs and flashy medals...people who had put in the training...pushed their limits...and made themselves proud. For me yesterday it was a beautiful day...an awesome BRF...and my limits pushed. There were miles that made me start to remember the runner I was before having Aub...like she's still in there...like I shouldn't lose hope! Pushing my limits like that and seeing what I'm made of made me proud. Yes I still have a ways to go but it felt AWESOME!! This week it's back to pushing those limits again! This week it's back to making myself proud!

ReplyDeleteyay for awesome, pushing the limit runs!
ReplyDeleteI am running my 2nd marathon in 2 weeks this weekend... so I am pushing myself to be sure I am properly rested and ready.
Yeah for rediscovering that runner that you still are! I'm going to be submitting my stats for Half Fanatic this week - I qualified with the halves I ran over the past 14 days :)
ReplyDeleteYay for pushing limits and for rediscovering the runner inside of you. My brag was running 9 miles over the weekend. A big accomplishment for me post-knee surgery. Honestly, I haven't run that far in a long long time, even before surgery.
ReplyDeleteWay to push yourself! Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to continue my half-training this week, and hit 8 miles... or 9 if my (currently sick) body will allow!
PR'd my 10K from Saturday! I just started running outside again after the winter and am proud at the endurance and stamina that I kept the entire race!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!! Way to get back in the game girl! I did back to back trail runs and the weather was great and I felt tired but satisfied when I was done!
ReplyDeleteWay to go!!! Push those limits and yes, I will too ;-)
