I'm sharing with you all today a "fun" workout I've been doing with a friend and our fearless leader trainer the past few weeks. If you remember this summer, I discovered the pain kettlebells can inflict and of course fell in love! Here's been our workout lately! Have fun!
First things first get yourself some kettlebells...
I am trying to challenge myself to increase my weights...thus the line-up! Make sure you do have a range though.
I haven't done KB in quite awhile. Such a killer workout!
ReplyDeleteI love love love my kettlebell, except now I want more in heavier weights to really push it!!
ReplyDeletelooks great and challenging! there is so much you can do with kettlebells!
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome! If I owned kettle bells, I'd definitely be using them regularly. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've never once used Kettle Bells...On the Dumb Bells!
ReplyDeleteI need to figure out what I have in my house that would make a good kettle bell substitute! Looks like a great workout!
ReplyDeleteGuess I need to get some kettlebells. ;)
ReplyDeleteI just did a kettlebell workout yesterday and am sore today! Love it! I need to get myself some pretty bells like those though;)
ReplyDeleteI have never used kettle bells but had an awesome TRX workout today! Will have to try the KB's.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great - I love KB workouts!!!
ReplyDeleteI've not done a kettlebell workout before. I usually stick to regular weights. This looks like a killer workout though and it makes me want to add some kettlebells to my Christmas list. :)
ReplyDeleteI had a 10-lb kettle bell and just purchased a 15-lb one this week. Tried it out for the first time today and LOVE it. Thanks for the new workout.
ReplyDeleteI tried kettlebells but just can't seem to get into them. Maybe my Bob Harper DVDs weren't fun enough :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a serious workout! I need to wrap my head around that too as I reacquaint with my trainer on Monday. OY! My husband uses these but I haven't embraced kettle bells yet. LOL
ReplyDeletei love kettlebells- i started out using 15# and am now up to 25#.... love seeing the progress. (I don't think i'll go any higher)
ReplyDeleteyou should look up windmills- GREAT side oblique (aka love handles) workout- its my favorite move
I think I'll try this, just got some new kettlebells!!
ReplyDeleteI always smile whenever I read about a kettlebell workout because I am friends with (he did demonstrations at some of my contests) John Brookfield who basically introduced kettlebells to the US in the late '90s.
ReplyDeleteAt time it was really revolutionary (and it took many years for it to catch on) and he did some crazy tough things with them.. stuff I don't see being done today. They are without a doubt a solid workout and you can make them as tough as you want to.
I don't personally do them, but know some friends that do.
One thing that I think is important to learn is proper technique when first starting out.
With the constant swinging, one can get hurt if form is not good.
I like the routine and am sure that it will provide serious results for you!
