Worked like a charm and even was able to get a load of laundry done and catch up on my celebrity gossip on my favorite radio station and find a few recipes in my Clean Eating magazine!
Now onto today's topic of the day from Fitness Cheerleader....
Why did you start your blog?
Well I started writing Living the Dream in 2009 well after I had been reading blogs. The name came from a t-shirt that I had purchased from LTDChix with a mom on the treadmill with a baby and laundry hanging off. Perfect! I was a new mom and really looking for one thing....What I received in returned I never expected...friendship, unbelievable support, encouragement, countless fitness and food ideas, motivation, parenting tips, and access to an amazing group of people striving to be the best version of themselves!!! I wouldn't trade it for the world!! I'm so thankful for it!
Why did you start a blog? What unexpected things have you gained since then?
oh my goodness, I love the support, people I've helped, friendships, motivation...all those things come with my blog writing. It has opened so many doors that I never thought possible before and it's nice to have the support from women like you, how we can all relate to each other SO much...nothing quite like it!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I started mine for the same reason. I was getting back into running after having my first son and I needed accountability and needed a network. Blogging gave me that!
ReplyDeleteI started it because I was afraid I was boring my friends and family with my stories of running and triathlons so I thought why not communicate with people who also talk about the same things! :-)
ReplyDeletei started my blog because i always said i would scrapbook my experiences. my friends pretty much told me yeah right...just do the blog. i didnt really understand why it would be easier or better...but it is. the community i have found, the friends, the support...its all unreal but absolutely amazing! so glad that the home gym is working out so well:)
ReplyDeleteHey :) I started my 'photo challenge blog' because i had a new camera and i have always loved taking photos... i really enjoy the 'challenge' part of the topics ! [to shoot your best photo of whatever...] to shoot a sometimes ordinary thing in a extraordinary way... what i discovered was that i enjoy the 'telling of the story' part just as much ! Take good care C
ReplyDeleteI started my blog to keep my on track for my first marathon and also to document the journey. I was surprised how much this blog gave me in return and I could not imagine to stop blogging after I ran my first marathon. So I kept running and blogging! :)
ReplyDeleteI love reading all these stories about how everyone started. And I love the blog names, I feel sometimes like mine is so unoriginal.
ReplyDeleteYES! Great job on sticking with the fitness and the blog - you rock!
ReplyDeletePS - thank you thank you thank you for not using that stupid blogger captcha thing - I can never get it right!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to name your home gym! Can't wait to hear what you come up with.
