Last week I posted about hitting the reset button...about realizing that vacation week, even though we didn't go away anywhere, was a deviation from the norm and thus my workouts were too. I started this week with a fresh outlook and decided to redo Week 7 of the
Best Body Bootcamp. I'm so thankful I did that because this week has been great! I've hit my workouts both cardio and weights and I feel much better about the week! Am I sore? Oh yes but it is one of those good sores...the ones you have after a great workout!
I'm ready to take on next week and end this
bootcamp on a high note!
Do you ever hit reset on your workouts? How did your week go? Any victories? Any struggles?
One week has made a huge difference! I'm feeling strong and happy workout wise!
ReplyDeleteYes, I notice it all the time. sometimes i think we have to slow down let our body catch up and then we are almost ready to take it to a new level!
ReplyDeleteYep! I definitely hit reset sometimes. It does the body and mind good :)
ReplyDeleteYes, most definitely!! I totally agree with Amanda that we sometimes have to slow down and let our bodies catch up. Our minds can away sometimes :-) My week has been blah mainly because I haven't been getting enough sleep. I'm so ready to hit the reset button this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI had to hit the reset button this week! Last week was not so great but the best part of having a crappy week is having a great week to follow. Great job on Bootcamp!
ReplyDeleteThat's great. Such a good feeling when things click and it helps so much to move onto the next level when you feel good mentally about it!
ReplyDeleteFunny you mention that, I am hoping to hit the reset button in about 1-2 weeks! I have a foot injury and have to wear a walking boot to let it heal, and the Dr's say 1-2 weeks.. I hope they are right, because I am really looking forward to hitting "reset" and continuing with my running goals!
ReplyDeleteI have had a great couple of days after the first part of the week needed a reset. Had a great at-home workout yesterday and am sore today, woohoo! Glad you had a great week Nancy:)
ReplyDeleteI do struggle during the week lately with my workouts, since I wil be moving soon and also plan a wedding. I decided early on to celebrate each workout I do and not feel guilty about the ones I miss. I feel so much better tha way :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I need to go back and redo some week of Tina's boot camp- I missed a bunch of workouts with the marathon in the middle of it. Glad you had such a good week!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I have done this many times :) Glad you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYes! Glad you've had a good week. I love Tina's workouts.
ReplyDeleteYep hitting the reset button can make a world of difference. Glad you had a good week!
ReplyDeleteIt feels so good to end a week and think, wow, that was great! My week was ok. Too many life-things interrupting my training plan so there was a lot of tweaking and a few missed runs. No worries :)
ReplyDeleteMy victory was starting the 90 Cathe workout series and feeling motivated to cross train again!
I love re-dos! I'm not a fan of feeling like you only get one shot at being successful. I think it's great that you reflected and decided to repeat the week.
ReplyDeleteis this the teacher in us? ;)
that is awesome, I love having a great week and yours is motivating, this week I am going to strive for a good week here!
