Fitness Friday...What a Difference a Week Makes

Last week I posted about hitting the reset button...about realizing that vacation week, even though we didn't go away anywhere, was a deviation from the norm and thus my workouts were too.  I started this week with a fresh outlook and decided to redo Week 7 of the Best Body Bootcamp.  I'm so thankful I did that because this week has been great!  I've hit my workouts both cardio and weights and I feel much better about the week!  Am I sore?  Oh yes but it is one of those good sores...the ones you have after a great workout!
I'm ready to take on next week and end this bootcamp on a high note!

Do you ever hit reset on your workouts?  How did your week go?  Any victories?  Any struggles?

  2. Yes, I notice it all the time. sometimes i think we have to slow down let our body catch up and then we are almost ready to take it to a new level!

  4. Yes, most definitely!! I totally agree with Amanda that we sometimes have to slow down and let our bodies catch up. Our minds can away sometimes :-) My week has been blah mainly because I haven't been getting enough sleep. I'm so ready to hit the reset button this weekend!

  5. I had to hit the reset button this week! Last week was not so great but the best part of having a crappy week is having a great week to follow. Great job on Bootcamp!

  6. That's great. Such a good feeling when things click and it helps so much to move onto the next level when you feel good mentally about it!

  7. Funny you mention that, I am hoping to hit the reset button in about 1-2 weeks! I have a foot injury and have to wear a walking boot to let it heal, and the Dr's say 1-2 weeks.. I hope they are right, because I am really looking forward to hitting "reset" and continuing with my running goals!

  9. I do struggle during the week lately with my workouts, since I wil be moving soon and also plan a wedding. I decided early on to celebrate each workout I do and not feel guilty about the ones I miss. I feel so much better tha way :)

  14. It feels so good to end a week and think, wow, that was great! My week was ok. Too many life-things interrupting my training plan so there was a lot of tweaking and a few missed runs. No worries :)

My victory was starting the 90 Cathe workout series and feeling motivated to cross train again!

  15. I love re-dos! I'm not a fan of feeling like you only get one shot at being successful. I think it's great that you reflected and decided to repeat the week.

is this the teacher in us? ;)
