Now on the second dose of motivation I desperately need is hanging in there as a mom! I know....terrible twos or whatever it is but this motherhood thing is kicking my butt lately!! I love Em more than words can say don't get me wrong....and I cherish the fact that I am her mother but some days I feel so extremely defeated between getting her to eat more than snacks and getting her not to poop her pants daily....or maybe wear sleeves when it's 40 degrees out. Any suggestions? You know considering the fact that yesterday I was so down that I turned to my old friends.....
Its rubbish to feel down and B&J are just took darn good at what they do ;-)
ReplyDeleteI can so hear what you are saying about being "mommy" and its good to get it out, sometimes just saying it out loud makes it a little better. I've had days where I just want to not be mommy anymore either. My eldest is a super fussy eater and what he eats one day he won't the next. What I have found is that they will eat and won't starve themselves. Some weeks mine will only eat carbs, the next only veg & fruit (more a rarity these days though!), and the next only protein .....
It does sound like she is testing your boundaries and learning what she can and can't get away with. Be strong xxx
Oh I've had those Mommy moments! Ben & Jerry's is a great solution...or maybe wine?? : )
ReplyDeleteLove the motivation! Little girls can be so tough at ages two and three!!
ReplyDeleteLove that first one! I needed to read that today...I'm lacking in the motivation dept too, blah! Maybe because here in Texas, our temps are still in the stinkin' 80's? UGHHHH!!!
ReplyDelete...hey! those guys are MY friends!!!!
ReplyDeleteI feel like motherhood kicks my booty on a daily basis...I wish I had answers! Hang in there!
I wish I could say it gets better, the battles just seem to change. It IS worth it! Keira wanted to wear a sundress yesterday, and it is a good day if Soren only poops in his pants once. Neither eat much.
ReplyDeleteBeing a mommy is hard, and it feel like it changes every freakin' second. I don't have answers, but know I'm here for any support you might need.. Hang in there..
ReplyDeleteWhat problem do those guys NOT solve? Good luck!
