Lately I have needed someone with a megaphone in the morning to get me out of bed! Perhaps Sue Sylvester could come stay in our guest room! Yesterday I decided that enough is enough. There is no time for me to continue to whine about being tired and scramble to fit in my workout after work. My time is the morning and this morning I got up and went. Yes I'm tired but it is better for me to be tired than frustrated for not working out! I'm done dreaming and I'm now doing!!
What are your dreams? Are you in bed dreaming them or out reaching for them?
Love that quote....so true to.
ReplyDeletelove that quote- already forwarded on to a few people.
ReplyDeletesometimes its hard for me to be persistent with my dreams because they keep changing, so thats a whole different battle. If i'm going to be honest- when it comes to general "life dreams" I'd say I'm still in bed but i've managed to sit up. Running dreams its more of now being out of bed but still a little groggy starting the day lol (getting there)
Yay for getting up - you picked a hard one with the time change! I need this motivation too (and got up this morning as well). I think with it getting warmer outside, that will help!
ReplyDeleteIt can be so difficult to just crawl out of bed some days...but you are right...we all have to get up in order to achieve our dreams. Love the quote! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat quote! I had a rough time waking up today too. Have a good Monday!
ReplyDeleteI've had one of those weeks too and the time change doesn't help! But I make myself get up, knowing how mad I will be if I don't!
ReplyDeleteI love that quote. Good for you for getting up and working out! I had one of those mornings today. Losing an hour of sleep to daylight savings is not fun. Hope the rest of your day is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWell said! I love sleep, but realizing its more important to work towards my goals and not sleep through them. Woke up and did a 5:45 spin class...booya! Thanks for this post!
ReplyDeleteThis perfectly describes me this morning! Luckily I made the wise choice, but boy did I want to go back to sleep!
ReplyDeleteI think your mind-set is the key, at least that's what I've been learning. The choices I'm making are often related to the way I'm thinking. Thanks for the motivation!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great quote - and so true.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! The time change certainly didn't help this morning but I did drag myself out for a few miles. Love that quote!
ReplyDeletethis is maybe one of my favorite ones you have ever posted! love it :)
ReplyDeleteIt was just what I needed!!
DeleteI'm in a unique position of coming up with all new dreams for myself. I don't know what they are yet but Im hopeful!
ReplyDeleteGo get 'em, Ms Fancy!
Tired is almost always better than frustration from not working out. I'm reaching for my dreams every chance I get with the occasional use of a megaphone (aka husband) to give me the push I need :)
ReplyDeleteLove this. Will have to think of next time I want to hit "snooze" and sleep through that am run!
ReplyDeleteI definitely need help getting out the door in the morning. Lately, I've been able to get it in mid day or after my husband is home, so I've been resorting to that, but I know as it heats up around here I'm gonna need to get up early again. Love that quote!
ReplyDeleteLove this quote! Lately I feel I dream my dreams and wish so badly I would be able to live my dreams. Maybe one day!
ReplyDeletelove it. i can't seem to get motivated to run in the morning these days either.
ReplyDeleteI have been totally choosing sleeping and being lazy lately! Maybe watching you get in gear, well push me back :)
ReplyDeletelove this...I need another race before May, your post motivated me!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the much needed inspiration and dose of perspective. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteLoving the Monday Motivation! It's good even on a Tuesday :-)
ReplyDeleteI have been struggling as well. It is just so warm and cozy!
