"Junk" in the Trunk!

Good morning all!!  Writing this morning while I watch the Olympic marathon....I won't spoil anything for those of you who are out running while the race is tapping...but boy these men make it look so natural!  If I could have a stride like that, I could run for days!!

Today over at the Fitness Cheerleader we're talking junk food.  The question of the day is:
What is your favorite junk food?
Now while there are many weaknesses in my eating lately since pregnancy cravings are in full force now that I am closing in on my 8th month, I tried to think of the one food that if it was on a table in front of me I would have a hard time not sampling.  That food is tortilla chips and guacamole. 
I apologize to my sister who has been my partner in finding the perfect Salt and Vinegar chip but this combo is my Achilles heel by far.  One of things my hubby and I joke about when we talk about our honeymoon is the fact that I couldn't keep away from the guacamole bar that was by the pool...even though it gave me a stomach ache every day!! (Probably had something to do with the fact that it was out in the Dominican sun all day)  I just can't have it near me because I can't resist it!!

Ok so your turn to dish the skinny on your favorite junk!

  1. Mmm, I'm with you on chips and guacamole. Impossible to resist! The one treat I have nearly every day is dark chocolate. I even had to go out and by some while visiting my parents this week because they only had milk chocolate. I think I might be addicted. :)

  3. Coconut popsicles from Trader Joe's and Ghirardelli 60% Cacao chocolate chips. Lately though I've been really great at NOT delving into junk food :)

  4. I love chips and guacamole! I just had some amazing fresh tortilla chips, guacamole, and sour cream here in Vegas and I couldn't get enough. So good!

  6. I thing guacamole counts as a healthy fat, not as junk food. But the chips .... Chips of all kinds have been my downfall lately!

  7. Guacamole is one of my favorite foods for sure! My favorite junk food? Nachos. Which makes me want guacamole. haha

  8. I like guacamole a lot and without the chips its not that bad for you but my favorite food would be bbq nachos and I can only eat them once a year, they are that bad for you!

  12. Yum! I think I craved all things salty while pregnant with my sons. I know with my second son, I was craving movie popcorn(I know soooo awful) and went to the theatre, didn't get a ticket but walked straight up and ordered me a small popcorn and ate it on the way home!!! wow, can't believe I just admitted that...one of those low, pregnancy moments :(

  13. I love chips and guacamole! I try to stay away from it though because a good helping can cost you! I also like to mix salsa with sour cream and dip chips in that too! I also like spinach dip, clam dip, blue cheese dip...okay, I love most dips!

  14. Hmmm...not sure I can pick just one. I have such a weakness for desserts. Prime example: this weekend we baked 3 dozen cookies and I'm pretty sure I ate at least 8!
