Monday Motivation

All I have to say to this is "Thank Goodness"!!  Can I get an Amen?
These past few weeks I have been feeling awesome about my workouts!  I have been gradually building my mileage and last week started adding in speed work and abs (oh ouch!) and I have been feeling strong!!  This morning I stepped on the scale expecting to be fist pumping like the best of them but....no luck!  The number is going down but no where near the speed I thought.  Then I remembered this...it is just a number.  I need to focus on how great I feel...how strong I feel...and the fact that I am taking the steps I need to to get where I want to go!  The number will move...but more than that I am getting back to feeling like me again...those skinny jeans will be mine soon!

  2. You will be in skinny jeans without ever getting on the scale! Toss it out and keep doing what you're doing! Besides being awesome. ;)

  11. You are doing amazing! I never hear excuses from you, just encouragement and motivation.

I'm totally stoked about hopefully FINALLY meeting you in February in Hyannis. I can't wait to give you a hug and thank you for all of your support and words of wisdom.

Keep killin' it and churning out those miles.

  14. You are so right! If I were you I would stay off the scale for a few months. Just keep working out and feeling great and don't worry about the pounds, because that is totally NOT what it's all about!
