I'm going to be honest...the past few weeks I have started strong, motivated, eating clean, nailing my workouts...and then as the week trickles by, life get hectic and things slip. I'm tired of this...tired of the example I am setting...tired of knowing that time will still pass whether or not I choose to get with the program and fight! My goals are not going to just happen...I need to FIGHT!!! My daughter's comment to me yesterday afternoon was exactly what I needed to hear...I sat down with some crackers and she told me they were not healthy. She's right and I need to show her that healthy is what we eat...especially since she is such a picky eater. She's my shadow lately and I need to be that example for her. So I'm putting on the boxing gloves this week and #IWILL go 12 rounds and win this fight! #IWILL be at that starting line READY to hit my goal! #IWILL be a good example!
What are you ready to fight for this week?
Put on those gloves and go the distance!!
I love when it's my child, too, who knowingly or UNKNOWINGLY refocuses me.

My boys keep me in line more than they know! Have a great week Nancy!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how our kids (no matter the age) hone in on those negative things for us sometimes?! I hope that this week is great for you all week long!!
ReplyDeleteClearly you're setting a good example if she picked up on the cracker choice! Bumps in the road but you're doing great overall--keep it up!
ReplyDeleteYes, as it gets closer and closer to my due date that is one of the things that motivates me to stick with it, I will soon not only be affecting my own health and decisions but I will have to be a role model!! Ahhh :-)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Miss Zippy. A great example!
ReplyDelete<3 this, it's amazing what our kids teach us, in the exact moment when we need it.
ReplyDeleteWe can't be perfect 100% of the time- you're doing great. And it's okay to relax the healthy rules sometimes, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love it when my kids do that, well mostly I love it. They are watching!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a good Monday! I do a spin class after work on Mondays and it keeps me from going home and vegging out! Without it, I would not be half as motivated, but knowing it is already in the plans every week really gets my week's workouts started off right!
