The excuses began to run through my mind this morning as my alarm went off. It was early....after teaching all night I was tired...my foot hurt...but today's run was for a bigger reason than me. Today I ran for Sherry...for her memory....for her family...for women who don't make it home again. It was an honor to be part of this and each time I wanted to stop I remembered Sherry.
Did you run, walk, bike, skip, move for Sherry this morning?
Good for you Nancy. I just got back from a) long walk w/ Bella, and b) short run for Sherry....and for all of us.
ReplyDeleteGood job Nancy. I am walking for Sherry through a snow storm today. I thought of her during my long run yesterday too, so she gets a double dose of love from me. :o)
ReplyDeleteAwesome you did it. I did my run for Sherry today as well xx
ReplyDeleteNice job Nancy! I know what you mean about pushing aside any excuses today.
ReplyDeleteRan...twice for Sherry. Once with a friend. THen with my family.
ReplyDeleteGreat job today, Nancy! I still have time to run in her honor today, I think I will! :)
ReplyDeleteYes I did. I printed the bibs for everybody in my running group and we had a good time. Today's run made me realize again how important my running group is!
ReplyDeleteso beatiful and what a tribute from so many of her fellow runners. I sadly, did not run today...a little chaotic, not that I have an excuse but will make up for it tomorrow :(
ReplyDeleteWhat a great cause to get out and run for!
ReplyDeleteI ran yesterday for Sherry - great job getting out there and getting it done!
ReplyDeleteLike you, I ran even though I had a 100 excuses not to. I was sick. My darling daughter was up all night coughing. But I did 2 miles for Sherry and told myself, that was better than none.
