Monday Motivation

The heat is on....the humidity is cranking...cookouts are in full swing...in comes the challenge folks!  Summer is great with the sun and the beach and cookouts but it is also a challenge.  Gotta get in those workouts before the fun starts!  We're settled for the most part here in RI and the challenge for me is getting the workouts when I want to be having a blast with the fam.  But I'm going to be strong and push my limits....I'm going to get in my workouts AND live summer!  This June I showed myself that I CAN do it!  I got in my 100 mile goal and completed the Another Mother Challenge all while moving and reaching my 6 month mark!  How about you?
How are YOU going to push your limits this July? 
Break those barriers!

  4. I completed the AM challenge too! This month more trail running to start thinking about my 50K in the fall, running almost a race/week and continuing my new 90-day strength program! Bring it :)

  5. our temps are in the 100s even at bed time, so my challenge now is I have to get up at 4:30am to avoid the heat (if you consider 80s avoiding heat lol) It definitely does make your plan or prioritize more!

  6. I am such a heat wuss...so I am pushing my limits by doing my first marathon in July. The temps aren't supposed to be too bad for it. Great job with the 100 miles and being pregnant!

  7. this July is all about balance for me...my training is really picking up this month but im also moving/finishing up stuff at school so I really gotta stay balanced, get quality sleep, eat well and take care of myself! congrats on absolutely dominating your goals!

  8. July is all about getting my feet back under me again, upping my miles, and getting ready for my tri! Then half marathon training starts in August :)

  11. Good for you for hitting 100 miles and the 6-month mark!

    Half marathon training starts this week so the challenge of July will be increasing the mileage and speedwork in this heat!
