Monday Motivation

My sister was showing this sign to me on Etsy the other day.  She had chosen it to put in her daughter's new bedroom.  I thought....how perfect!  What if I woke up thinking the same thing?  Instead of my crawling out of bed that I have been doing lately, I could get out of bed ready to conquer that day and make it count!!  During the school year I make the efforts to do this be getting up bright and early and heading to the gym...even though this means waking up at a time when most are still snuggled in bed.  I'm going to make the choice this week to get out of bed with my boxing gloves on....ready to kick that day's bootie!!!
How about you? Do you have your boxing gloves on?

  1. Agree with MizFit! I LOVE my mornings. I go to bed EXCITED to wake up the next day to see what it holds. Mornings are "Me" time and I LOVE getting up early and starting the day off right. Love that quote. My boxing gloves are on!

  2. I go back to work in 2 weeks [after a long wonderful summer break] so my boxing gloves are on and ready for a trial run of my work week routine. Ugh! It takes forever to adjust back to having very little flexibility with scheduling my day.

Work or summer break morning time is still MINE!!

  3. I love mornings, but don't always get motivated for them. However, in the summer when it gets hot later, it's important to get up early and get your workout on or I may never do it! So I am still crawling, but working on getting the gloves on!

  4. Ohhh I've had a really hard time facing Mondays! Lately I've been having so much fun with my weekend training and shenanigans that I really really don't like Monday mornings. Thanks for the reminder!

  5. I so used to be a morning person and would wake up ready to conquer the day. Lately? Not so much. I was just thinking about this this morning too. Love this quote!
