It got me thinking about doing a few things around the house to keep motivation handy...to have kind reminders of the benefits of running and getting in my workouts before the sun comes up not after it goes down!! Jill at Fitness, Health and Happiness has written a lot about motivation boards. I even blogged about it last year and actually have all the things to put one together! I need visuals around the house right now (I'm sure my hubby will be psyched with the new home decor) to remind me of my goals and where I want to go! Here are some examples I found....

ReplyDeleteand now you have me pondering the fact it is...they are...covered and yet have nothing on there associated with FITNESS!!!
I made one in pinterest and I also have a board where I put photos and things from races I've done :)
ReplyDeleteI have quote boards on Pinterest and above our computer in our office are 3 boards with photos and mementos from races.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd go old school with a vision board, too. Although I don't get any magazines, so I don't know where I'd get the pictures! :-)
ReplyDeleteYay for Fitfluential!
I sort of have a visual motivation board, one of my biggest motivators is just to put on my favorite jeans.. they fit great means good motivation to keep it that way, getting snug means kick it up a notch!
ReplyDelete3x a week! I want those arms this year too! We CAN do it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the mention Nancy :) Love the boards you shared! I have plans ot make a new one this weekend. The process relaxes me and I love seeing "my vision" in my office and workout room. I'll be back on Mon to see yours ;)
ReplyDeleteI used to make life boards...but they were boards that highlighted my accomplishments and very moments of the year :)
ReplyDeleteI may follow you and add my favorite quote. Coming from Fitness Friday.
