Monday Motivation

This has been my quote of the year....to finish what I've started.  It is the phrase that I repeat to myself when runs get tough and this month it has been the phrase I have repeated over and over when the couch looks like a much better option than working out!  It's easy to quit...especially when you have a good excuse...but the true growth comes from when you dig deep and finish what you started.  Finish that training plan, you're almost at the starting line...finish your meal planning, you have just a few pounds to go....finish that last round of the circuit, you are stronger than you think!
This week...
Finish what you started!!!

  1. I repeat that during hard runs too! Actually, Van Halen's song, "Finish What Ya Started" pops into my head and I sing it instead. Always works!

  3. Love it. Results come from not how you start...but how you continue!

  4. Finishing what you start is more important than even starting in the first place. You are doing a great job...keep it up! :)

  6. This is a great one and one I've never actually thought of applying to running (as dumb as that sounds!). Have a great week!

  7. Starting is easy (I've done it a thousand times!), it's the follow through that's hard ;)
