WIAW...Dinner Time!

First let me thank you all so much for your support and kind words!  I am breathing and practicing grace with myself each step of the way!

I've been trying out quick and healthy Paleo meals for dinners this past week.  I do really well for breakfast (green smoothie) and lunch (big ole salad) but dinner, after I've worked all day and have two lovies who I would rather play with, is a challenge.  I wanted to share with you a few of my eats from this past week's dinners!
Turkey Burger and Avocado salad...Turkey Sausage Stuffed Kabocha Squash...Big ole Salad with Tuna
I have a few more recipes to try out...which makes my hubby's heart sing (can you hear the sarcasm?) but overall I'm really liking eating more Paleo.  I wouldn't say I've been 100% but it has only been a few things over the past few weeks! I'm really focusing on getting in lots of veggies which works great since it's
over at Peas and Crayons!!
What have you been loving on the dinner table lately?

  2. That turkey burger/avocado recipe sounds fantastic! Good for you for trying this all out. And I totally relate on the husband and new/healthy recipe front!

  3. I totally know what you mean about dinner time! I'm great the rest of the day too but when dinner rolls around, I'm done! Plus I usually make separate meals for my kids and for me. Then my husband usually scrounges around for something himself. haha. These dinners look great!

  4. Looks yummy! I also like trying new things and it is even better when they all love it, especially my son. I made a ground turkey taco salad last week that was super yummy and the family loved it too. Took less than 30 minutes..SCORE!

My boyfriend loves healthy! I'm not being sarcastic. That being said, he eyeballs my food sometimes wondering what the hell I'm eating lol

  7. I'm vegetarian so if my hubs wants meat with his meal he has to cook it himself :-) But the good thing is so far he likes most of my food and will just eat meat when he eats out! Sounds like you are staying on track!

  9. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the whole paleo thing. On the one hand, I get cleaning eating, but on the other hand, I don't see how eating that much meat or eshewing beans and fruit can be a good thing....

Interested to see how it goes for you!
