Monday Motivation

If I ever want to get to where I want to be, I need to once and for all fight through and be the "old me"!  Instead of wishing and hoping, I need to be doing.  Instead of wondering if, I need to get out there and make it happen.  There is no one standing in my way except for one person...one person I know very well...one person I love but would love to see differently...me.  I feel like I get on a good path and then that "old me" comes sneaking back...old habits...old doubts.  This week I'm taking her down...day by day!  I can and will do this!
Who/What is standing in your way this week?  How have you pushed past your "old you" in the past to be who you are today?

  1. Push the old me out of the way and see ya sister! :) That's what I tell myself daily!

  2. Love this. For the past 2 days injury, frustration and self doubt have been standing in my way. I was doing ok until then. I don't know exactly how but I'm going to kick the frustration and self doubt to the curb!

Have a great day Nancy :)

  6. I'm feeling similar to Jill - fear & frustration over being on the sidelines. All I want to do is RUN! Trying to be patient and heal properly!!

  7. Awesome! I am feeling pretty free and clear to be productive this week since the kids are going back, so not much in my way right now!

  8. The only thing in my way is myself. And I definitely need to work on the downhills for upcoming trail races. I always get passed a lot at the very end of the race and on the downhills!

  9. Love this Nancy! Stepping away for vacation has done a lot to clear my head - though the kids are still home this week, I'm looking to make it a productive one!

  10. I, too, love this Nancy.

While competition (with others) can certainly be healthy, I think it's critical that everyone approaches life from the vantage point of: I'm going to do at least one thing that makes me better than the person I was yesterday.

For many of us that's lacing them up, but it can also be reading something challenging, practicing gratitude, taking a chance on uncertainty. Thanks for sharing this!
