Monday Motivation

I'm going to be honest...the past few weeks I have started strong, motivated, eating clean, nailing my workouts...and then as the week trickles by, life get hectic and things slip.  I'm tired of this...tired of the example I am setting...tired of knowing that time will still pass whether or not I choose to get with the program and fight!  My goals are not going to just happen...I need to FIGHT!!!  My daughter's comment to me yesterday afternoon was exactly what I needed to hear...I sat down with some crackers and she told me they were not healthy.  She's right and I need to show her that healthy is what we eat...especially since she is such a picky eater.  She's my shadow lately and I need to be that example for her.  So I'm putting on the boxing gloves this week and #IWILL go 12 rounds and win this fight!  #IWILL be at that starting line READY to hit my goal!  #IWILL be a good example!
What are you ready to fight for this week?
Put on those gloves and go the distance!!

  1. I love when it's my child, too, who knowingly or UNKNOWINGLY refocuses me.

  3. Isn't it funny how our kids (no matter the age) hone in on those negative things for us sometimes?! I hope that this week is great for you all week long!!

  4. Clearly you're setting a good example if she picked up on the cracker choice! Bumps in the road but you're doing great overall--keep it up!

  5. Yes, as it gets closer and closer to my due date that is one of the things that motivates me to stick with it, I will soon not only be affecting my own health and decisions but I will have to be a role model!! Ahhh :-)

  7. <3 this, it's amazing what our kids teach us, in the exact moment when we need it.

  8. We can't be perfect 100% of the time- you're doing great. And it's okay to relax the healthy rules sometimes, too. :)

  10. I hope you had a good Monday! I do a spin class after work on Mondays and it keeps me from going home and vegging out! Without it, I would not be half as motivated, but knowing it is already in the plans every week really gets my week's workouts started off right!
