Monday Motivation

In all your efforts to get to your goals, don't forget to...
Running is certainly a journey for me.  From pre-children to post 2 babies, I can honestly say I'm a completely different runner than I was when I first started!  This past weekend, even though I narrowly missed my goal, I celebrated.  I celebrated the journey and the people who were there along the husband, my children, my family, and my dear running friends...each of them played a part in who I am now as a runner.  We all have goals...things we want to achieve...but it is important when you get there (or almost get there) to celebrate what brought you to where you are.
What/who are you celebrating today?!

  1. I love that picture of you!!! Thank you so much for hanging around until I finished ;) I had so much fun hanging out with you and the other girls this weekend!!

    1. But of course!!! I'll be looking for houses for you all to be our neighbors!!

  2. You should definitely celebrate- you had an awesome time! Isn't it silly that we can get so worked up over a few seconds or minutes off a goal? Still an awesome accomplishment- and I'm glad you recognize that!!

  3. I love that picture! I can't jump to save my life - much less jump after running 13.1 miles. I'm celebrating finishing 20 miles on Saturday even though it didn't go quite as well as I'd hoped.

  4. You are one of the happiest people I've ever met, and that picture shows it! Great job this weekend you did amazing!

  5. That picture is all sorts of amazing! You definitely earned the right to celebrate!
