Three Things Thursday

What a day....what a day....already and it's only 9am!  Let's just say I will be happy to be crawling into bed tonight!  Slept through my alarm....ran late to work....frustrating early meeting....There is so much running through my mind but for now I will leave it to three things!

1.  Running in the Dark...Yesterday I joined my track group at the big group runs out of a local running store.  I went early to get an early Christmas present.....

a reflective jacket so that I don't become road kill.  I picked the 6 mile route....lost the lead group....and hauled butt to stay with someone with a headlamp so I didn't end up in the ocean.  But I'll save details about that for tomorrow!

2.  Eat this....Thanks for your compliments on my menu of the day!  I'm sure you all are like most people and me who eat well most of the time.  I am eating this menu as part of the Holiday Shred.  Part of it is eating clean but you can cheat one meal a week.  I'm trying to decide where I want my cheat.  I have noticed that this has helped me really evaluate what I am eating and really why I am doing it.

3.  Holy high miles....Well November marked the highest miles I have logged in a month ever....172!  I'm psyched!  I only have 136 miles left to reach my goal of 1500 miles this year.  I know I am going to be tired but I am going to push on to do it!

Have a wonderful Thursday all!!  What have been your November highlights?

  1. Awesome job on your miles!! Makes me tired just reading about it!!
I need to find a running group to help hold me accountable. We don't really have a running store here. : (

  4. I really need some reflective gear now that I'm running in the dark most of the time with the time change.

1500 miles is amazing and you should be really proud when you reach that goal.

  6. Cute Christmas present! That's one of my biggest fears about joining up with my local running stores running group. I'm not a fast runner and I think I would get left behind!
